Case · Bechtel Classic Motors — A 190 SL and Its Owner
A Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, New York and a personal story that goes far beyond the car itself.
A car is rarely just a car. The film follows a Mercedes-Benz 190 SL roadster in the United States and lets its owner do the talking — between shelves of spare parts, a suburban street and a drive out with the family.

190 SL
The Approach
Arthur Lih, founder and CEO of Life-Vac, brought the Mercedes-Benz 190 SL roadster that once belonged to Arthur's father to Germany for an extensive restoration. The film tells the personal story behind the car and follows the return of a very special classic to the road.
The Result
Just under seven minutes of film about a special car and the personal story behind it – told calmly, up close and with an eye for the details that make this 190 SL so special.
